Lionel Messi's Family Brand Maradona 'ignorant' For Discrediting Barcelona Star

Lionel Messi's family have hit back at Diego Maradona after the Argentinian soccer legend launched an attack at the Barcelona star

Now Messi's cousin Maxi Biancucchi has hit back by saying Maradona was 'ignorant' over his comments.

The 34-year-old, a professional footballer with second division Paraguayan side Rubio Nu who is nicknamed El Primo de Messi - Spanish for Messi's cousin - raged: 'It's ignorant to discredit Leo.

'It's sad to see how someone who boasts of being a leader can talk so badly about a player who's currently the best we've got and will probably be so for a long time yet.

And he's done it at a time when he should be helping to rebuild if he loves the national side as he says he does.'

Cahill :I May Quit Chelsea In January

Gary Cahill says he might have to quit Chelsea in January as a result of his finding the lack of playing time “very difficult“.

“I do not want to jump the gun but as things stand right now, in all probability, yes [I might have to leave in January],” Cahill informed The Daily Mirror.

“To start with, the team‘s doing well which is an important thing. Having been a big part of things for six years, seven years and played an enormous part, not just a squad player, I am definitely finding it hard this year to cope with that scenario.”

Cahill has fallen behind Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Andreas Christensen in the pecking order and has accepted that “sometimes you need to make tough decisions” for the progression of your career.
